to give you a reference. They arrived undamaged. I am very
Happy with them. They are of great quality with an unbelievable price.
They are holding up wonderfully. The only damage that was done was to one
of the back bottom corners of one cabinet from me trying to move it on my
own and it is of course in the back of one of the base cabinets so no one
will ever notice. I just shouldn't have tried being just a beast and
doing it on my own with these things. They arrived very fully assembled
and
wrapped and protected by cardboard pieces (each one).Then they were
saran wrapped on a pallet on the semi that delivered them to us. A little
dusty, but beautiful. We were so proud of them!
We were very Leary
to begin with too but after looking at the construction
components of these cabinets compared to those at Lowes and Home Depot we
were very satisfied. For the same price at home depot you can get some
poorly constructed cabinets. We saved thousands by going through Cab-net
instead of Lowes or Home Depot and got the quality that we insisted on.
We have never
regretted getting cabinets through them. Many people we knew were
calling us nuts for ordering cabinets online but once we received
them and installed the cabinets they regretted their comments. My
father-in-law had just built a home and installed cabinets for thousands more
than we paid and the quality of his cabinets while "good" couldn't
compare with the construction of these.
My husband is
a woodworker and he had considered making them. He couldn't
have made these cabinets for the price that we paid Cab-net. You will be
happy with the quality and construction of these cabinets. I doubt that
in your life time you will ever have a problem with them.
I was skeptical at first buying cabinets off a website. Let me tell you
that I have been very happy with my cabinets.
Make sure you ask Richard to send you a sample chip of the color/finish
you want to make sure it goes with everything in the room.
Anyway, getting back to your questions. Two of the 17 cabinets I
ordered had minor damage, which were immediately taken care of by
Richard. They cabinets were cracked during shipping. Richard told
me to keep the damaged cabinets and that new ones would arrive in about
two-three weeks, which they did, no damage.
I have all of my cabinets finally installed and they look great. My
neighbor living behind me is putting an order together since seeing my
cabinets. Richard could not be easier to work with. He is a real
professional!
Cab-net also offers a larger selection, at 50% of the price, and top-notch
quality... better than what Home Depot or Lowes could ever offer. Quality
and price were my two decision points and Cab-net satisfied both.
I've made
purchases over the Internet but never for large ticket item. When it was time
to remodel our kitchen, I visited the usual home center stores and boutique
cabinet stores. I wanted to explore the Internet making a decision. My My
itnent was to find a "true" price of all these cabinets and was surprised
to discover that you actually purchase cabinets on line. When I found
cab-net.com it was nice to find the cabinets do not require assembly, are
delivered to your door and come in a variety of wood finishes. Richard the
owner of cab-net was a great help making sure that I had accessories to give
the kitchen that special finishing touch. He also kept me apprised of the
status of the order which is very rare today. I encourage anyone to consider
cab-net.com when planning their next kitchen for those that are hesitant; I do
suggest that they order a door sample to see the exceptional quality of the
product before making a decision.
